Au Ki states:-

1 am messenger to Mr. Justice Wise. I know Mr. Kyshe the Registrar of the Court. I have been messenger to Mr. Justice Wise for over a month. I took the place of Messenger in the place of the deceased son of a Court Messenger. Mr. Kyshe

has never spoken to me before. Mr. Kyshe has never sent for me

on any matter. I have come to you twice before with Mail letters.

I have never been questioned by you or sent for by you before on

any matter.

I remember seeing you enter the Puisne

Judge's Chambers a few days ago in the afternoon between 2 and

3 o'clock. I saw you knock at the door before you entered I was

sitting in the chair just by the door of his chambers. Mr. Kyshe

opened the dcor. He opened the door and closed it. I did not see

you sitting down. You were in a very short time not more than

10 minutes. I did not hear anything. I saw you shortly after

coming out. I was standing by my chair. I saw nothing particular.

You did not talk. I heard Mr. Wise say something in English. I

beard him say something a few words, I cannot remember the

words. I did not understand them at the time then as you Mr.

Kyshe were at the door Mr. Wise put his hand on your shoulder

and pushed you out with some force and then banged the door

against you and you went away. Mr. Kyshe did not say one word

and went away quietly. That is all I know. This is the first

time I have been questioned on the subject by anybody.

Thomas the Librarian enquired of me after-

wards after hearing the banging of the door Thomas who was

standing at the end of the passage, that is the entrance to the

Library came and enquired of me, asked me what was the matter and

I told him what had taken place. Thomas could have seen what
